Jill began her career in the exhibit and display industry producing international events for clients attending major industry trade shows.  Her skills at creative artistry, concept development and flawless execution coupled with her ability to cultivate the same high standards in the colleagues she works with, quickly allowed her to expand her business into other corporate initiatives and celebratory events.

In 2002, she was one of the first candidates in New England to become a CSEP, Certified Special Events Professional, the hallmark of experience, professionalism and ethics in the event industry. She is one of 200 CSEP's in the world.

In 2003, jsmoran & associates was awarded an esteemed Esprit Award by the International Special Events Society for an event created for the Sheraton Commander Hotel in Cambridge, MA. Again in 2005, she was given the Esprit for Best Industry Contribution for her book, How to Start a Home-based Event Planning Business.

She has published articles on event related topics, speaks regularly at industry conferences such as Northeast Regional Education Conference, Eventworld  and The Special Event and recently published her first book on Event Planning.

The jsmoran team includes project managers, team leaders and staffing personnel with experience in corporate, non-profit, social and city-wide events. Each event receives the same attention to detail under the supervision of an event manager who carries the event from concept to completion with the assistance of the jsmoran event team, delivering value and experience to exceed expectations!
